Meet The Founder
Meet Nisaa the compassionate founder of #YouMatter MN, whose journey to making a difference began with a heartwarming act of generosity: celebrating her birthday by spending the day with the homeless, sharing shoes, clothes, free BBQ, and cake in 2018.
Driven by a profound belief in the power of community and inspired by the love of Jesus Christ, Nisaa continues to make a difference throughout the year by organizing regular community outreach events. Once or twice a month during the summer, Nisaa takes to the streets, distributing essential items such as shoes, clothes, food and more to those in need.
In addition to these grassroots efforts, Nisaa leads #YouMatter MN in organizing impactful events throughout the year. From Back to School giveaways, Thanksgiving feasts, to Christmas toy drives, each initiative is a testament to Nisaa's unwavering dedication to spreading hope and joy to those who need it most, driven by the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.
With a heart as generous as Nisaa's, the mission of #YouMatter MN goes beyond providing material support; it's about creating moments of connection, compassion, and empowerment, while showing the love of Jesus Christ. Nisaa envisions a world where everyone feels valued and supported, and through #YouMatter MN, they are turning that vision into reality, one event at a time.

Who we
are
#YouMatter Minnesota had it’s inception on August 4th, 2018. #YMMN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community through various initiatives. We provide essential support to the homeless by offering meals and distributing #YouMatter essential bags filled with food and supplies. Additionally, we offer prayers for those seeking spiritual comfort and support through the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST. Our mission is to bring hope to individuals and families affected by poverty and homelessness. In addition to our direct support for the homeless, we are committed to enhancing the overall well-being of our community. We organize clean-up efforts to remove trash and improve the cleanliness of public spaces. Furthermore, we host annual drives, including a back-to-school drive, a Thanksgiving drive providing turkeys and groceries, and a Christmas drive distributing toys to families in need. Through these initiatives, #YouMatter Minnesota aims to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing adversity, offering a helping hand and a message of hope to those who need it most!
